Dolly Parton's Imagination Library of Lowell

We launched the Lowell, MA chapter of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in April of 2024.
Our pilot program began in Fall 2024 for the ZIP code 01852. We plan on working with local companies and other non-profits in order to fundraise to bring books to children in Lowell.
If this program proves to be a success, we will expand to other ZIP codes in Lowell, and eventually, Greater Lowell to include Billerica, Chelmsford, Dracut, Tewksbury, and Tyngsboro.
The Lowell chapter of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a fiscal partner of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Lowell, a 501(c)(3) who support the Kiwanis International mission of improving the world on community and one child at a time.
The Kiwanis Club of Greater Lowell has been serving the Greater Lowell community since 1917. The Lowell Kiwanis is most known for:
- Providing scholarships to high school seniors for over 35 years totaling over $75,000 since inception
- Annual Monster Bash and Halloween Stroll for over 25 years with an average attendee count of 2,500
- Annual Spring Fling for over 5 years
- Moody School Bring Up Grades (BUGs)
